Net Weight: 152g/Roll Product Questions & Answers Q) Are these 4mm COB LED strips lights waterproof?A) The 4mm COB LED tape light is IP20 meaning it is not waterproof and ideally suited for internal applications. Q) Would this work if I connect it to a sensor switch?A) Yes, our cabinet LED drivers are compatible with many of our different types of sensors. For example we offer a single, double door sensor ideal for kitchen cabinets and walk-in wardrobes along with PIR and 1-100% on/off silver touch sensors. These sensors are available in both an [inline] and [master] type. Inline means that it connects to one of the LED accessory ports between the driver and LED light. Master means it connects to the master port of the driver for full control of every LED light attach to the inline driver ports. Q) I purchased a 12V 2700K 5M COB LED strip length back in August 2022 and notice an ever so slight brightness decrease towards the end of the strip. Why is this and what can I do to stop it? A) This is due to voltage drop, due to the number of micro COB LEDs (chip on board) and overall length of strip you will notice a slight drop in power and brightness towards the end. To avoid this simple power it from both ends, you can do this by soldering a return cable onto the other end. Alternatively you can add a slide on connector and wire the bares to your associated constant voltage power supply. Q) After I cut the 5M light strip into 4 segments of the lengths I wanted, how do I power these 4 segments?A) You can do this by first ensuring you have cut across the designated copper solder pad intervals. These can be soldered to. Second you would then solder a +/- cable to each segment and connect to a designated constant voltage power supply. This can either be done in series or parralell. Here are the wiring scenarious: 1) 12V Series: Power Supply > Strip > Strip > Strip > Strip > Return (If over 3.5M) 2) 24V Series: Power Supply > Strip > Strip > Strip > Strip > Return (If over 5M) 3) 12V/24V Paralell: Power Supply > 4 Strips on seperate lines. Please Note: If you are unsure, please consult a qualified electrician or electrical contractor before carrying out any electrical works. Q) Hi, I purchased this a few months back and the COB LED tape is not working. It's not lighting up?A) Dear Uprise Customer: Please can you check that the mains power source is turned on. Alternatively, if you're seamless LED strip has a micro connector, please check that this is securely connected to either the extension cable, sensor or Cabinet LED driver.
