Yes, it can be cut easily at every 25mm indicated cut point. Alternatively we can custom cut your LED tape lights, Neon Flex and LED extrusion profiles to exact specification. Contact us for more information.
How do I connect an extension cable to the LED tape?
This LED tape kit comes with 10mm wide LED tape to 2 core cable connectors. Simply push the ends of tape into one side of the connector and the 2 core cable into the other. Once both are firmly in place clamp down the metal connection spokes with a pair of plyers. This results in a secure circuit. It's important to ensure the polarity of the + / - are correctly orientated, please check this.
What aluminium LED extrusions can I fit this into?
This product is 8mm and will fit into all LED profiles with an inside width of 8mm and above.

Q) Are these 4mm COB LED strips lights waterproof?A) The 4mm COB LED tape light is IP20 meaning it is not waterproof and ideally suited for internal applications.
Q) Would this work if I connect it to a sensor switch?A) Yes, our cabinet LED drivers are compatible with many of our different types of sensors. For example we offer a single, double door sensor ideal for kitchen cabinets and walk-in wardrobes along with PIR and 1-100% on/off silver touch sensors. These sensors are available in both an [inline] and [master] type. Inline means that it connects to one of the LED accessory ports between the driver and LED light. Master means it connects to the master port of the driver for full control of every LED light attach to the inline driver ports.
Q) I purchased a 12V 2700K 5M COB LED strip length back in August 2022 and notice an ever so slight brightness decrease towards the end of the strip. Why is this and what can I do to stop it? A) This is due to voltage drop, due to the number of micro COB LEDs (chip on board) and overall length of strip you will notice a slight drop in power and brightness towards the end. To avoid this simple power it from both ends, you can do this by soldering a return cable onto the other end. Alternatively you can add a slide on connector and wire the bares to your associated constant voltage power supply.
Q) After I cut the 5M light strip into 4 segments of the lengths I wanted, how do I power these 4 segments?A) You can do this by first ensuring you have cut across the designated copper solder pad intervals. These can be soldered to. Second you would then solder a +/- cable to each segment and connect to a designated constant voltage power supply. This can either be done in series or parralell. Here are the wiring scenarious: 1) 12V Series: Power Supply > Strip > Strip > Strip > Strip > Return (If over 3.5M) 2) 24V Series: Power Supply > Strip > Strip > Strip > Strip > Return (If over 5M) 3) 12V/24V Paralell: Power Supply > 4 Strips on seperate lines. Please Note: If you are unsure, please consult a qualified electrician or electrical contractor before carrying out any electrical works.
Q) Hi, I purchased this a few months back and the COB LED tape is not working. It's not lighting up?A) Dear Uprise Customer: Please can you check that the mains power source is turned on. Alternatively, if you're seamless LED strip has a micro connector, please check that this is securely connected to either the extension cable, sensor or Cabinet LED driver. Check all the micro connectors are secure and connected.
Q) What is the power consumption and IP rating and for a 5 metre strip? ThanksA) Dear Uprise Customer: The power consumption for this 4mm 5M spot free COB LED strip is advised at 4W/M.5M Powered one end: 19W or 3.8W/M.5M powered from both ends: 24W or 6W/M. The IP rating is IP20, which means it's ideal for internal applications and offers no splash proofing or liquid resistance.
Q) Can I cut this strip and how far apart can I cut?A) Yes this strip can be cut at each cutting interval. Marked as a small black line. Be carefulA) You can cut this 24V 4mm COB LED strip at every 50mm (5cm) cut point.

Q) Can these be joined or extended, let's say if i need 9m of light in one run?A) Yes, we've tested upto 14M with a return. The strips can be soldered together at the copper solder intervals. How do I connect an extension cable to the LED tape?
This LED tape kit comes with 10mm wide LED tape to 2 core cable connectors. Simply push the ends of tape into one side of the connector and the 2 core cable into the other. Once both are firmly in place clamp down the metal connection spokes with a pair of plyers. This results in a secure circuit. It's important to ensure the polarity of the + / - are correctly orientated, please check this.

Can I cut this COB LED strip to length?
Yes, it can be cut easily at every 25mm indicated cut point. Alternatively we can custom cut your LED tape lights, Neon Flex and LED extrusion profiles to exact specification. Contact us for more information.
How do I connect an extension cable to the LED tape?
This LED tape kit comes with 10mm wide LED tape to 2 core cable connectors. Simply push the ends of tape into one side of the connector and the 2 core cable into the other. Once both are firmly in place clamp down the metal connection spokes with a pair of plyers. This results in a secure circuit. It's important to ensure the polarity of the + / - are correctly orientated, please check this.
What aluminium LED extrusions can I fit this into?

Mini Dimmable Touch Switch Sensor for LED Strips
A touch sensitive on-off micro dimmer switch that is simple to install. Simply click into one of our 12V plug and play cabinet LED drivers and press for on/off functionality. By gently touching the switch for a few seconds you can dim up/down system connected LED lights. When powered up it emanates with a low key, brilliant blue halo offering a stylish, more complete look.
The micro connector can also be cut off revealing a positive and negative wiring cores (2 core flat cable), indicated as white (+) /grey dotted line (-) which can be wired in series to your LED circuit.
This ready to connect mini light dimmer is ideal for kitchen cabinet lighting. Simply turn on/off and dim COB LED strip lights, Undercabinet lights and recessed spot lights with ease.

Answer: No, it does not remember the last saved setting if the power source is turned on and off or vice versa. It will only remember the dimmer level if the system is always turned on.
